Ok enough already ESPN…world cup soccer is not that interesting. 8 hours of your broadcast day should never be devoted to the discussion of whether or not a team will get lucky enough to win games 1-0. I hate soccer. It’s a rejects game, a game for people who on the whole couldn’t think fast or catch a ball…or even throw a ball by the time they were 10….interesting.
I am not ignorant of the sport. I love sports in general and I see them all for the unique snow flake that they are, so trust me, I have made this decision based on years of seeing soccer paraded around in front of me on TV, in the communities, and most of all by people who don’t live in America and somehow think they found the greatest thing since sliced white bread.
Soccer is devoid of several key characteristics that make any sport watchable. That is a biased (yeah I call myself on my own BS) statement but I assure you that I am not without the chops necessary to completely validate it.
Here are the three top arguments I hear that people believe make soccer legitimate:
#1 it is the most played sport in the world, #2 it is an athletic/talented game, #3 it takes other worldly stamina to be a professional soccer player.
Ok lets go 1 by 1.
Soccer is the most widely played. There’s a reason for that though. Kids all over the world can cut the head off a goat or kick a coconut in the street and call it soccer, and that’s primarily where most of the world exists. When I was a kid I generally became bored with kicking a can, or just punting a pigskin football. It’s easy. I can learn the fundamentals for soccer in an hour. That cant be done with other “skilled” sports.
Soccer is for the poor. That’s as true and as clear cut as it gets. You don’t need pads, or a mouth piece, or upper body strength to play it. (women love soccer…no upper body strength required) and most of all, sissies and rejects the world over who don’t have hand eye coordination can find a sport to identify with. The ball is big and easy to see and no worries, we may not even require you to touch it for 90 whole minutes.
#2 the talent is hit or miss in soccer. Generally the most talented people are the forwards. The strikes….the dead ball people. By dead ball I mean the person that kicks it in from the corner or scores on a penalty kick or just generally gets the opportunity to take a breather look at the entire field and then make a decision.
Soccer is not played on reflex or synapse it’s played one move at a time. The last time I checked checkers isn’t considered a real sport.
For years David Beckham has been considered one of the most talented athletes of our generation when in reality he’s a 160 lb Englishman/twerp who wouldn’t survive one practice in any other real sport. I could kick his ass. He kicks a ball from the corner and someone else heads it into a 30 ft wide net from ten feet away. Wow that’s talent.
“Dead ball skills” and other fancy terms used in soccer are really just a bunch of phooey. In hockey we call it in “throwing it in front”….it’s real talented stuff. Assuming that I can kick a soccer ball 40 yards or so (and I can)…It’s rational to therefore conclude that I could also set up dead ball plays for other people to clean up the garbage. See, at least in hockey we call it garbage scoring…we’re proud of it. In soccer you make 30 million a season for it because the rest of the world is in awe, not knowing that it takes little to no athletic ability to do that.
#3 soccer is not that strenuous. There are millions of cross country runners, track and field people and just general middle aged women that jog 5 miles every night and they don’t get commendation for it like soccer players do.
The field is massive, I agree it would be a bitch to play on it….but that would only be true if there wasn’t 100 players on it at one time. They kick it to a teammate…who then turns 180 degrees and kicks it to another teammate and etc. This goes on for like 10 solid minutes and eventually the ball travels the distance of the field but no one player is required or even expected to cover that distance all by himself…..in any other sport that’s played as a team (real football, hockey, basketball, rugby, water polo, ok that last one is a bit ridiculous) every single player may be EXPECTED to cover the entire playing surface at all times.
Soccer is not that fatiguing. There are plenty of stoppages in play…defense is catered to by an abysmal idea of what constitutes offsides (you can never be behind a defender before the ball even if the defender is a dumbass and plays up too far…so please soccer players don’t run too hard to get a breakaway! Wtf?)
….and quite honestly it’s boring as all sin. I don’t care how loud a stadium of 200,000 poor drunk Europeans can sing….soccer is a lay sport for lay athletes who for the most part can’t compete elsewhere….because if they can, they do. Soccer is a fundamental.
Ever wonder why lots of real athletes play it and then move on to more talented sports? Because running and footwork is the basic building block of all sports. And a real athlete wants to take advantage of all the talents the body can produce…not just his legs. I can play soccer I just don’t enjoy it. In high school and low level colleges I could play midfield for any team. I might even be able to play up. If you’re a pissed soccer fan and want to challenge me to it…go ahead…I play hockey…footwork is what we do….don’t be mad that I just took the cover off your simple sport.
Seriously, whats next? I guess that’s how Curling got to be an olympic sport. Don’t get me started. Thank you for the proliferation soccer. You suck. Soccer is far worse than just this…the proliferation it starts goes much further as is discussed by Chuck Klosterman in “Sex, drugs, and Cocoa Puffs”…

Everyone gets to play in soccer…parents can drop their ADD kids off to run for an hour and they get to play. Skill or earning minutes doesn’t exist. Parents do the same thing with other sports now expecting it to be like soccer….little do they realize that any coach worth his salt will only play the kids that work hard enough and develop the talent necessary to actually play the game. We’re not all born equal athletically…that’s absurd. And then parents punch coaches for not playing little Johnny who sucks and can only run. Or worse yet get the coaches fired.
Kids play soccer to avoid the embarrassment of missing free throws, striking out, getting burnt in the secondary or not possessing the upper body strength to shoot a slap shot etc….or just to avoid physical sports, aka sissies. (these are Klostermans views and though I am highly jealous that I didn’t come up with them first, I am in 100% total agreement with him.)
In conclusion, I can only appreciate the athletic appeals of soccer when half the stadium collapses and cuts into the soccer buying market. Any real athlete can play soccer with ease and generally does so before moving on to bigger and better things. Soccer is for hippies who stay with one stupid movement and convince themselves it is the best game in town….

Tebow will pull boy band ass...
With less than 3 minutes to play the quarterback stepped to the line to make his calls…he stood still and barked “hut, hut.” The ball was snapped to him and in one smooth whip-like motion he let a deep ball fly. It hung for what seemed like a minute before it dropped straight into the hands of his target. The receiver galloped easily to the end zone. Florida 44, Cincinnati…well does it even really matter??
This is but one of the famous performances for which Tim Tebow is so highly regarded by college analysts and fans. His total stat line that night read: 31-35 320yds and 3 scores…533 all purpose yards which broke Vince Young’s FBS record in a 51-24 drubbing of the Bearcats.
Impressive as it may be there is however a few problems with Tebow (believe it or not Tebow lovers)
I’m going to break down the few biggest reasons that Tim Tebow will be a bust in the NFL. I’m sure you have all heard about the piss poor mechanics and the throwing motion…the sloppy footwork….while all of that (especially the footwork) is bad news it can be corrected with good coaching and proper work ethic. Tim has to change it and work to keep it changed in order to allow his body to achieve muscle memory. That is not an easy thing to do but I am confident he probably will succeed in this regard.
I see two bigger problems. People have often said to me….if Vince young can have terrible mechanics and play out of the shotgun at Texas and use that in the NFL why can’t Tebow do it?
Well firstly….i wouldn’t want compared to Vince Young and secondly…Vince played in a shotgun read offense. He actually checked down receivers. And the bulk of his production this past season (in which HE supposedly rescued the TITANS season……) was because he played second fiddle to a 2,000 yd rushing machine known as Chris Johnson….it turns out that Vince is just athletic enough to make defenses pay that over commit to Mr. Johnson.
Tebow is not. The Urban Meyer offense is a shotgun T formation veer option attack. That’s a lot to take in but let me explain it to you. Tim takes the snap from the shotgun (a few steps back from the line of scrimmage) he looks one place first….the middle linebacker. If the backer fills the A gap then Tim fakes a handoff to the up-back and tucks it and runs it himself. If the backer covers the right or left end he hands it to the up back. If the backer drops in coverage he pitches it to veer back around end…and finally if the backer blitzes Tim looks up and finds a single hot read wide receiver. Occasionally play action is mixed in for a deep ball. All things told it’s a simple concept. Even Chris Leak won a National Championship out of it under Meyer and looked good doing it.
Urban Meyers playbook is consistently based on 3 versions of this play where he may or may not remove the up-back or veer back. And while it is difficult to stop if the personnel that runs it is talented and smart….it’s not difficult for a smart coach with a good defense to shut it down. You just have to attack negative space with blitzes, spies, or shallow zone coverage and be patient.
This system is impossible to run in the NFL. It gets blown up at the line of scrimmage. Instead, Tim will now be required to take a snap from under center (in most cases) drop back 3, 5 or 7 steps (mechanics be damned) read not just the middle linebackers but also the D-line and whether the safeties are in coverage or playing shallow…once he determines the coverage he then has to look for hot reads (blitzers) and pay attention to the combo option routes that experienced WR’s in the NFL have to run. He then needs to find the open man, anticipate his break, throw on time and hope his offensive line holds up for the average 2.9 seconds per play that NFL pass rushers allow….if the d-coordinator hasn’t brought a jail house blitz. The zone blitz would murder Tebow…if I was a d-coordinator I would spy him and zone blitz every down. And it would work.
One NFL play from under center will prove more challenging than running the offense at FLA for 4 years. It’s a fact. Let alone Tebow learning the NFL phonebook, aka playbook fast (as 1st rounder’s are expected to contribute soon) and translating that to the field. His wonderlic test (NFL intelligence test) wasn’t promising either…much like Vince Young.
Oh and he’s a lefty….that changes the structure of your offensive line as well. You now need a right tackle to protect his blindside and franchise right tackles don’t grow on trees people…not all left tackles can move over there and play that side of the ball….it’s a completely different stance….just ask Levi Brown of the Cardinals.
Here’s the bottom Iine. I like Tebow. He was an outstanding college player, maybe the best ever and I certainly like his toughness, his on the field demeanor and his ability to be physical and keep on ticking….but the NFL is so much more different.
The 2nd overall pick in the NFL draft ran a 40 time similar to Tebow’s and he was 6’4 310 lbs. Tim won’t be able to run away from that. He won’t run at all unless a play breaks down…and even then he better slide instead of lowering that shoulder….this is a men’s league…he’s not playing with little boys anymore.
The facts are simple…Tim played in an offense that was eerily similar to the one west Virginia ran to win championships in the 1940’s. That system is 60 year old football and defensive coordinators are licking their chops at the idea of getting to throw the gauntlet at Tim. Think of how smart the Steelers defensive coordinator Dick Lebeau is…he’s not going to allow Tebow to do anything….especially since he used to shut down QB’s with similar talents in college almost 50 years ago.
Tebow scored low on his football aptitude test and he worked out of a simple single read offense in college. The NFL demands that you make up to as many as 5 reads on a single play. This is gonna be a nightmare people.
He’s not gonna have time to throw or read the field…he might revert back to throwing the ball the way his body has told him to do it for 15 year plus and all in all that equals either injuries or turnovers in the NFL. Tim could be locked down by a single player on an NFL defense. That is a fact.
How about the Alabama game this past season? Tim looked helpless, inaccurate and unconfident. He was facing a defense that had 1st/2nd round NFL talent all over the field. The BAMA D was schematically developed by Nick Saban (an NFL quality mind in some regards) to stop Tebow and he made Tim look like a 6th grader out there.
Tebow is a system QB…NO system QB has ever panned out in the NFL. Name me one…I dare you.
Let alone a system QB that is left handed, poorly educated football wise, and inexperienced/ignorant to the fact that every defensive starter in the NFLl is talented, smart, and capable of outplaying him. All the hard work in the world won’t matter on Sunday….all that will matter is what Tebow can do with the pads on…not what he can do wearing basketball shorts on Jon Gruden’s ESPN special. Tim is dense and needs a lot of coaching up….and who is gonna give him that? JOSH MCDANILES!!! Wow…McDaniel’s is a moron.
So please enough anointing him as the next Peyton. He shouldn’t have been a 1st round selection, he shouldn’t have even been a 2nd rounder….the Denver Broncos taking Tebow 25th overall and trading up to get him was the biggest draft reach I have seen in the past 5 years this side of nearly every pick Al Davis of the Raiders has made in that time. But please go buy a jersey for Mr. All American….he’s gonna need the $$$ in a few years when he realizes that the defenses in the NFL aren’t anything like the SEC…he’s gonna need it start a career as a TV evangelist when he runs from the cameras and the embarrassment of his NFL career faster than he ran the 40. He’s a bust…I’ll put 100 bucks on it to any Tebow fan out there….he probably won’t even see the field because though McDaniel’s is a dumbass…he still not dumb enough to put a kid out there with men in anything but the wildcat. And please ask Pat White and Ike Taylor how that worked out.

For him to grow up in THE BIGS is asking too much. Alex Smith is a better, smarter version of what Tebow could be and even that is stretching it. Alex has a better arm. He sure did struggle to read defenses though….hmmm Urban Meyer….perhaps it’s time to medicate that ticker and think about how you should be preparing talented signal callers for the NFL a little better instead of yelling at local reporters.
Congrats Denver…you just drafted the next Alex Smith or Vince Young….enjoy the PR…oh and McDaniel’s will be fired for this draft decision in the next 2-3 seasons because he could have had another key defender or offensive lineman. You cant win consitently with a system QB. He is an idiot. He also has a thing for stockpiling broken QB's....oh well Tebow...you and Brady Quinn can kick it in EAS commercials and show off your hardwork.
Hardwork is overrated. A very famous coach was approached by his #2 quarterback...a young impressive college standout who let the coach know that he had been working hard all offseason and wanted to be the starter. The coach asked him "so what have you been doing?" The young QB replied, "all off season ive been lifitng weights and throwing footballs through the center of tires and into garbage cans from all over the field....."
the coach then said the smartest thing ever...
He told the young QB, "You know what lifting weights and throwing footballs through tires makes you good at? Lifting weights and throwing footballs through tires."

The re-education of Steeler Nation
Sports. Sports. Sports. I love them…in fact that’s an understatement because I owe nearly every bit of knowledge I’ve ever soaked up in life to watching, playing and understanding them. Hell, I learned American Geography and state capitals from knowing where nearly all the major university stadiums are. Thank you Brent Musberger….even if you do suck at generally stating the obvious in every major college football game ever played dating back to the Holy Roman Empire I got a 100% in American Geography. And thanks to you Sir John Madden… I do agree that Brett Favre should have his own national holiday…but that it should be on the 4th of every month to be celebrated by buying cheese and explaining to youngsters that the goal of football is to score more points than the other team.
All kidding aside (temporarily)…sports are culturally important. Even if you’re not a “sports person” per say, you will hear about sports quite a bit…especially in this community. So, in saying that, it must come as no surprise that though the present state of Pittsburgh sports has been “heated” to say the least…I’m still in full support of it.
GET OVER IT. Whining about the piss poor justice system and how it has handled two time Super Bowl champion Ben Roethlisberger has nothing to do with all the criticism and negative attention that he, his teammates, the Rooney’s, and the NFL has absorbed in a matter of months. It’s just good ole American justice at its finest.
Please read this slowly if you are of the mind that Ben Roethlisberger should be cut from the Steelers 53 man roster or should be excommunicated to St. Louis via trade in the coming week.
America is the ONLY civilized and industrialized nation in the world that establishes innocence until guilt can be proven by data, credible witnesses and a preponderance of the evidence. Sorry for the legal speak….but quite honestly…who hasn’t worked the justice system in western PA??? I do it every year when I get a speeding ticket.
Onto the current predicament.
Do Ben, his teammates, the Rooney’s and the NFL deserve to be brow beat for this? Logically then, the next question is why did Santonio Holmes (San Antonio Holmes to most “average “ Stiller fans) take the fall for all the bad behavior recently? Clean out your ears all you Republican Regan fans….SPORTS IS A BUSINESS and the Rooney’s GET MONEY. (a reference that most of the kids understand…)

The Atlanta Falcons did it with Mike Vick but that was because he was a proven offender of the justice system and they got a good chunk of $$$ back in court by sueing him for it. That will not happen with Ben because nothing has been proven. If he is traded he will take 60 million bones with him and the backbone of the Steelers BUSINESS. The Rooney’s are gamblers… trust me when I say they understand the impact it would have.
Imagine if you owned a trucking company. The talent that makes your business thrive is the experienced DRIVERS. So if they all get a ton of speeding tickets or drink on the weekends and hit their wives do you fire them and promote the mechanics to drive because of a sudden attack of conscience and morality? Hell no…all business owners know where their bread is buttered and so do the Rooney’s. They will not cut or trade him because it would be a financial nightmare.

All kidding aside (temporarily)…sports are culturally important. Even if you’re not a “sports person” per say, you will hear about sports quite a bit…especially in this community. So, in saying that, it must come as no surprise that though the present state of Pittsburgh sports has been “heated” to say the least…I’m still in full support of it.

Whining about the piss poor justice system and how it has handled two time Super Bowl champion Ben Roethlisberger has nothing to do with all the criticism and negative attention that he, his teammates, the Rooney’s, and the NFL has absorbed in a matter of months. $$$ BALL
The Steelers, The Penguins, The Pirates…. What’s the one thing they all have in common?
PITTSBURGH.
Really, all of the comparisons end there. The Steelers are one of the classiest organizations in pro sports as well as one of the most successful…if you disagree with that in light of certain “misbehavings” by key players recently, then go ahead and bring it on….I just took the ammunition out of your biggest gun….6 super bowl titles in what is arguably the most competitive/violent league in the world.
The Pittsburgh Penguins won a pair of Stanley cups on the back of good GM work and a super star named Mario Lemieux. Then hockey became pro baseball for awhile. They allowed salaries to increase, they managed to leave the fan out of the game and pretty soon about 5 franchises were in the running for the cup every season because hockey became $$$ BALL. (franchises: Colorado, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Toronto, Detroit.)
These 5 organizations were at the time the most powerful and lucrative in the game. # of them remain so though you would never know Toronto makes more $$ than any other, but that was before the cap was installed that SAVED hockey. These teams did not see the need to draft and raise talent….instead they drafted talent and traded it away for proven veterans that they could then sign to long term deals. They bought ALL stars. That’s the reason Detroit is about 8,000 years old from the top of its roster to the bottom between 1996-2002. They adapted and started drafting better after that to much better results.
The cap allowed the pens to be competitive and the rest is history….good drafting, luck and a a few young stars coupled with superb ownership and GM work lead to a 3rd cup from an organization that was nearly run out of town….
So back to baseball….it’s a corrupt and selfish league that only cares about its owners and players. The fans get left out even though we are the ones who provide the bulk of the $$$ to this gutless cash machine.
The Yankees (AKA the evil empire) and Boston Red Sox are deplorable examples of good ownership…they simply know how to take advantage of a bad system. If you had enough $$ and “PROUD of their ahlf illitearte accent” fans then any ape with half a brain cell would understand why giving CC Sabathia, AJ burnett, Mark Texiera, Curtis Granderson….A-roid, etc, etc more money than God is a good idea…because supposedly it would give you the best chance to win a title.
(1 title win in the past decade despite 2.2 billion in player spending…..which quite frankly doesn’t impress me that much…especially since there is about 12 legit teams that are even considered “contenders” to start the season.)
Yankees fans are like fans from all other sports…they’re not sports fans. They simply like to feel good that they root for a team that WINS!!! Yayyyyy they won! Look, see, I was right…I knew they would win! I’m so smart where sports are concerned…..27 titles…wow yippppeeee……its peanuts people.
Listen miss Cleo, those classic yankee teams had some pride and that many titles is impressive no matter what sport but when you consider that MLB is really just a game of poker than no wonder it was easy to win 27 out of 107 years. That’s a title percentage of about 25%....so your team enters the season with a 25% chance of winning it all against 12 other current competitive teams….wow….you root for good odds not good baseball! You are only exempt from this if you were born in NYC and the Yankees are a family tradition of sorts. All others are bandwagon fans….that is the truth. You like feeling good that you are associated with a winner in some capacity….an underlying truth is that most people that do like the Yankees are probably not successful at the sports they loved growing up. Losing sucks doesn’t it??
So, the pirates….oh boy.
They are the epitome of losing.
This is a touchy subject. I love Pittsburgh. It’s a proud sports town with some of the best fans in the world, but here’s the cold hard facts grandpa:
17 consecutive losing seasons (worst in ALL PROFESSIONAL SPORTS WORLDWIDE)
Lowest payroll spent last season (cut all lucrative contracts for minor leaguers in return)
In 2009-10 season only 4 players had contracts valued @ 2 million or higher.
More $$$ is spent marketing and advertising the pirates than is spent on player salary
A brand new ball park that has sold out 4 games in its history…( 3 of them were games against the Yankees)
No penant or division title in 19 years
Paul Maholm is our highest paid player @ 3.5 million dollars. (that’s a little more than what kris letang just got from the penguins)….and maholm sucks (38-44 career with a 4.33 era…its not top 4 starter material for any other respectable organization in MLB)
Any fan that could stomach these facts and still go to the ATM for the 10 dollars it takes to get into that beautiful building need punched. The ownership just pockets your money and hands you a night out to see TERRIBLE baseball in a beautiful building. Or maybe the terrible concert and fireworks afterward.
Please come to our nice house….we have fireworks and bobbleheads and commemorative plates, and collectable coins and free t-shirts, and free hats and free food if you pay $35…….what a joke this organization is. I HATE IT.
The ownership has no intention of ever putting a winning product on that field despite the fans innate infatuation with their beloved “buccos”….I only go if someone gives me a ticket for free. If someone gives me a free ticket this season I’m gonna put it in an envelope and mail it to the Nuttings with these words on it:
“You are a rapist….please jump off the Roberto Clemente bridge headfirst.” Signed….a fan who is smarter than you and your GM…the same GM you hired so you can fire him a year from now and blame 18 losing season on him not yourself…..
Opening day buzz is retarded also…this team continues to operate and make $ because of thousands of blindly loyal fans and OLD MEN who still think the 1970’s are around and that “we are family.”
Quite frankly I don’t want the Nutting’s mentioned in the same sentence as me, my family, or even the bank statement I receive at the end of the month….I bank with citizens…you know who’s ballpark they named even though they are a western PA business??? The Phillies…smart cats.
This season will not approach anything close to .500 ball….i will be surprised if they make it to .400 ball.

Quite frankly I don’t want the Nutting’s mentioned in the same sentence as me, my family, or even the bank statement I receive at the end of the month….I bank with citizens…you know who’s ballpark they named even though they are a western PA business??? The Phillies…smart cats.
This season will not approach anything close to .500 ball….i will be surprised if they make it to .400 ball.
They have no talent….they have no brains what-so-ever…they have no intention of winning anytime soon….and apparently they get away with it because loyally stupid-ass fans go in droves to get their pirates memorabilia. Let them sink people…..let the Nutting’s have their winter wonderland….
They guilt their lemming fans to be part of the teams that brought 5 titles to this town. Do they plan on adding to it anytime soon? NOPE…and further more I will not buy a #22 Andrew McCutchen jersey for the same reason I won’t buy a Clemente #21….no its not cuz I’m racist….it’s because I don’t believe in using past success to promote current mediocrity….wait mediocrity is too nice….how bout current inevitability. THEY WILL LOSE again and again and again if you keep “believing” by putting low stakes poker chips in their pockets by attending their games.
As a fan of Pittsburgh sports…I will bash them at every turn because their owners do not belong here. I love the titles they won in 1909, 1925 and then again in 1960 (against the Yankees)…I love the titles they won in the 1971 and 79…it’s a proud rich franchise that’s owned by shallow pockets and shrewd business people who prey on the low sports IQ’s of people native to this area.

a can of worms...
....oh look what i opened up now (see the title)
In all truth i dislike blogs...I simply wasn't aloud to use 800 characters in my Fb status or else I would just write this stuff there instead. But now that I have a few peoples attention and some of them (girls) are decidely pissed off, I figure I might as well run with it before I put this baby to bed once and for all.
While I wrote the 1st "BLOG" out of frustration and to mixed reviews (most girls hated it) I also received a few decent people who understand the conundrum that not showing manners, dignity and class presents. However, for the most part I was labeled sexist...a hater....or I was generally despised for speaking up about something I shouldnt have....which in turn leads me to believe that the women who labeled me as this are in fact communists and love alex ovechkin.....(he's the uglier face of the NHL (hockey)...he's the guy you would in fact say 'thank you' to if he opened a door for you because he makes 9 million a season...and that can buy a lot of sunglasses). I'm off topic...
Nonetheless I penned a second BLOG to tell those few commies out there that I do not care one bit if you call me judgemental or sexist or blah blah blah....becasue at least I practicte what I preach....I actually held a door for like 5 girls today alone....I got 3 thank you's. Thats 60%. Thats good enough.
This 3rd installment in the saga (star wars reference) is being written because now that everyones pissed and has voiced their opinions I have thus concluded that there is only one way to reason with people who can not understand ethics.....this is my "Return of the Jedi."
So girls, (ladies, when you all learn to say thank you) & gentleman absurdity and humor will have to do....the figurative "can of worms" that has been opened has lead to name calling and middle fingers and childish antics...well let me tell you something......... It's an all-time favorite quote/lyric by a band called "bright eyes"....
"....dont talk at me like I'm just a child...no really, I am MUCH younger than that."
So, without further ado...here is how much younger I really am.
This is an example of being judgemental and childish/immature.....
Women can do anything men can do EXCEPT:math, chess, running, jumping, lifting stuff, fixing things, making money, hockey, surfing, driving, making decisions,being tall, taking out the garbage, tipping, fishing, being funny...on purpose, reading a map, litening to good bands, writing, running the country, inventing anything important, or just being fun to hangout with.
Wait, wait, wait. Don't get me wrong, I love women...I just think they should drink from a seperate water fountain...
Actually, women may be even better than men but we'll never really know since they're swinging at bigger balls, playing from closer tees, doing pushups from their knees...and taking half 'The Beatles' Money, b*tches please!!!

The last 2 paragraphs is pure plagarism and proof that i am better at being more immature than you are...but still I'm betting it will be funnier and get its point across a lot more effectively if you just click on the hypertext link above and watch 54 seconds of hilarity and truth ensue.... This bit of comedy from Daniel Tosh is pure gold and its always better to hear the truth from a famous guy who's better looking than me than it is from this 3rd BLOG......burn.
PS-I reserve the right to plagarize because I believe a helluva-lot more in 'public domain' than I do in making sure people get credit for things. I'm sure that bright idea was also proposed by a girl somewhere in the sands of time. Either way I have a theory that needs published: THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS AN ORIGINAL THOUGHT. (copyright....2010) I actually came up with that in the 9th grade because I didnt want to come up with sources for papers...

backlash....
It is not difficult to understand why i may have more than a few fashionably (or scantily) dressed young ladies rather pissed at me...but this one minute detail is all that seperates normal thinking people (men) from those with only half the ability to understand and breakdown situations in a coherent manner...(the majority of most young ladies) translation: people are ignorant of things they wish not to believe. I am guilty of this too...yes we men tend to be dicks....but guess what? We own it...its expected of us becasue women allow it.....
Case in point is my post yesterday tentatively titled "theres an app for that..."
Many of my female friends are incensed that I would pass judgement on such an upstanding fine young women who swore at me after i reminded her that manners are a pre-requisite to nice guys like me holding doors and being a gentleman. Trust me on this...i will still hold doors because i desire to not sink to the same low level of debauchery that little miss "thang" did and because it is the basis of my appeal. I do not have movie star good looks but i do have some class, some manners, and a GD Brain!
I suggest those that passed judgement upon me for my article should closely look in their mirrors and ask themselves...is there an app for that?
If you pass judgement on me for coming to a conclusion that is supported by fact then you are indeed just as judgemental as i am...the only difference is that once again....im still smiling cuz i did the right thing....and your argument holds up as little weight as most women in a gym....sry...its a fact.
I held a door as my laurels required me to....and simply put, no thanks was given. I am unapologetic for passing judgement to another (oh yes this has happened before....shocking isn't it?) thankless girl who believes the world owes her something because she has fancy things and looks good in a skirt...
Im not buying it "Paris Hilton." ...but you do look FAB-u-lous.......
What i will indeed reccomend is that all shallow minded girls or men) who stick up for the aforementioned classless female find a sense of humor....an understanding for hyperbole and actually take a fair apprasial of what is or isnt legitimate literature. My article was ambiguous.
If you have to take off your designer shades to read that one more time it means that the article can have more than one meaning....i strive to include that in my writing. See....that article wasnt just for girls...if a dbag male in an Armani suit did the same thing I imagine I would feel just the same. But then at least i could compliment him on his good taste in suits. I sadly couldn't say the same about her....she was trying to be something she wasn't. She lacks a common view of reality....she's not better than ANYONE just cuz she looks good. Shes no better than me just as I am no better than her....but at least i try to be. Peace

theres an app for that....
Earlier today i was walking out of a classy downtown building in a fine suit when i saw a rather attractive young lady walking toward me. She was dressed nicely with chanel shades on, toting a coach purse while talking on her iPhone...i would guess her age to be about 19 or 20. Pretty standard for todays society i thought. As i sat down my briefcase on the tile floor i quickly smiled and held the door as i have been brought up to do from the time i could stand. To my surprise she strolled through without so much as acknowledging that i was there. no thanks, no eye contact...nothing....
Enraged i ardently replied in a loud sarcastic tone "you're welcome"...this was not good. She paused did a complete 180 and took off her 10 dollar knockoff shades to say "go F*ck yourself....to which i then replied "there's an app for that..." (add explosion sound effects here)....As we we argued back and forth for the next 30 or so seconds i told her that all the fake baking and fancy "replica" items that she bought off the asian dudes in the strip district suit her quite well...i then explained that my suit cost more than the abortion her parents should have decided on.
I then proceeded to tell her that all her dollar bills and high class attitude on life made one thing very clear....."$ can not buy class." I then told her that her rib stealing gender has been taking "i'm too good for you and bitchery 101 classes at all the local colleges and passing with flying colors." Congratulaitons hunny...you're a success.
I left her with a "good day maam" and put on my clip on shades (6 dollars at sheetz) and strolled happily over to my beat up nissan sentra to drive away....i was smiling the whole time.
MORAL OF THE STORY: Chivalry is dead and women killed it.
I am writing a 200 page novel in the vein of klosterman and the good doctor and this will be one chapters focus. I need 4 guest chapters, Here are my 1st picks as i find these peoples rants to be highly entertaining and for the most part true:
Chapter 1. "A PennDot State of Mind" by Zach Edwards
Chapter 2. "The Wal-Mart Hiearchy" by Justin Kelly
Chapter 3. "The Politics of Who Gives a Shit" by Cody Slater
Chapter 4. "How to Get Away w/ Saying/Doing Anything Past Midnight" by Mike Vinroe.
